About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. You will help create meaningful customer experiences, prepare and coach the preparation of beverages and food to standard recipes or customized requests, and support store operations and standards. The role requires directing and coordinating the work of other employees and providing quality customer service.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of customer requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized customer requests, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
Direct and delegate work to other employees and coordinate tasks among employees.
Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide a warm and welcoming customer experience.
