About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. You will help create meaningful customer moments, prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customer specifications, and support store operations while meeting company policies and standards.

Requirements

At least six months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of their requests.
At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
Ability to direct the work of others.
Ability to learn quickly.
Effective oral communication skills.
Knowledge of the retail environment.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to build relationships.
Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Availability to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

Direct and delegate the work of other employees and coordinate the tasks of two or more employees.
Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customized customer requests.
Meet store operating policies and standards for beverage and food quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
Help create a welcoming coffeehouse environment for the community.
