About The Position

The Shift Supervisor Level 1 provides customer service and helps maintain the car wash site, complete opening and closing procedures, and troubleshoot basic equipment issues. The supervisor must be able to perform Car Wash Attendant duties, follow DRB Protocol, complete relevant training, and work with minimum direction and periodic supervision. The position requires at least six months as a Car Wash Attendant before advancement. The supervisor also demonstrates responsibility when the Site Manager is off site and enforces safety policies. The role is based in a typical outdoor car wash environment in San Antonio, Florida. Employees must follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment. The company notes that duties may change as business needs require.

Requirements

At least six months as a Car Wash Attendant before advancement.
Able to work weekends.
Able to work with minimum direction and periodic supervision.
Able to work safely in accordance with standard operating procedures without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
Able to work in damp and humid conditions and in variable outdoor weather.
Able to stand and walk throughout the workday; use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stop, crouch, and kneel.
Able to regularly lift or move objects up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Some car wash experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills, including active listening.
Excellent sales and customer service skills.
Ability to anticipate customer needs.

Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous, friendly, and attentive customer service; greet customers, answer questions, and explain available wash options.
Ensure customer satisfaction and report inquiries, incidents, and issues in a timely manner.
Complete all Car Wash Attendant duties satisfactorily.
Troubleshoot basic XPT and DRB issues and follow DRB Protocol.
Read the Supervisor Level DRB training course and attend Preventative Maintenance Training.
Complete five-day Preventative Maintenance Reports.
Arrive on time and comply with dress and appearance standards.
Maintain and clean the site and assist with opening and closing procedures.
Demonstrate responsibility while the Site Manager is off site and enforce safety policies.
Understand chemical room equipment functions and assist the Site Manager with tunnel and chemical room equipment repairs.
Clean out solenoids.
Wear required personal protective equipment and follow OSHA safety guidelines and protocols.
