About The Position

The Marlin Bar Shift Manager is responsible for leading front-of-house restaurant operations, supervising team members, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staffing and payroll, supporting employee training and development, maintaining operational standards, and creating a safe, productive, and engaging work environment.

Requirements

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to safely operate restaurant equipment and tools.
Willingness to work flexible schedules based on business needs.
Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support front-of-house restaurant team members.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee growth and customer service excellence.
Maintain appropriate staffing levels and manage payroll within budget.
Coordinate employee training and monitor performance.
Communicate effectively with restaurant staff, management, and corporate partners.
Ensure consistent execution of company policies and operational procedures.
Partner with the Restaurant General Manager to improve restaurant operations and processes.
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
Enforce food safety, workplace safety, and operational compliance standards.
Support daily restaurant operations and guest satisfaction.
Perform additional duties as required to support business operations.
