About The Position

As the Food & Beverage Shift Manager, you will manage operations during your assigned shift and support customer satisfaction by following established company standards and procedures. You will report to the Venue Manager of the venue. The role includes managing and scheduling staff, supporting recruitment and training, monitoring guest satisfaction, resolving customer and associate issues, maintaining service standards, and directing sanitation in assigned areas.

Requirements

Knowledge of the products, service, and appearance of all operating beverage outlets.
Knowledge of food and beverage cost-control systems and methods.
One year of directly related experience.

Responsibilities

Manage line staff to deliver great guest service, teamwork, and camaraderie.
Monitor associates for adherence to company and/or franchise standards and procedures.
Schedule associates and ensure appropriate staffing levels, making adjustments based on guest needs while controlling labor costs.
Participate in recruitment, selection, hiring recommendations, and training for new associates.
Monitor guest satisfaction through face-to-face contact with customers.
Resolve customer complaints or problems according to standard conflict-resolution protocol.
Resolve associate and point-of-sale system issues.
Maintain departmental qualitative and quantitative service standards established in the department’s Standard Operating Procedures.
Direct sanitation of all assigned areas.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
