About The Position

Super Star Car Wash is an industry-leading provider of car wash, detail, and lubrication services across Arizona, California, Texas, and Colorado. Shift Managers are operational leaders responsible for daily business execution. As Manager-on-Duty, the Shift Manager is accountable for onsite culture, team performance, safety, service execution, and the overall guest experience. The role suits leaders who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy developing people, and seek a pathway to higher-level operational leadership. Shift Managers rotate through defined areas of responsibility to develop leadership, business, and operational skills. The role includes leading daily shift operations; coaching and developing team members; upholding safety, company policies, and brand standards; and rotating through people and staffing, sales and training, and operations and tunnel leadership focus areas. The position involves prolonged standing and walking, manual tasks, operating equipment, and stamina throughout the shift. It also requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, make decisions, and drive results.
High integrity and professionalism.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate, coach, and hold others accountable.
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Energy, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style.

Nice To Haves

Retail, hospitality, or car wash experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Own daily shift execution, including staffing, business flow, safety, and service standards.
Serve as Manager-on-Duty and resolve guest and team issues with confidence and discretion.
Ensure smooth shift transitions through clear communication and follow-through.
Execute opening and closing procedures and maintain operational readiness.
Lead, coach, and hold team members accountable to operational standards.
Provide hands-on coaching, recognize team members, support training completion, and promote engagement and accountability.
Model company values and enforce policies and procedures.
Identify safety risks proactively and address issues immediately.
Ensure consistent execution of brand and cleanliness standards.
Rotate through people and staffing leadership duties, including scheduling, onboarding support, attendance tracking, performance documentation, and training compliance.
Rotate through sales and training leadership duties, including team training, coaching sales behaviors, certification support, and identifying development gaps.
Rotate through operations and tunnel leadership duties, including site cleanliness, equipment readiness, preventive maintenance coordination, and lot organization.
