About The Position

The Café Shift Lead serves as a brand ambassador and assists in developing crew members who provide guests with exceptional hospitality while upholding Tropical Smoothie Café’s culture and values. The role focuses on guest service, product standards, teamwork, accurate and timely order preparation, and maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation. Shift Leads work with crew members and managers and may lead a crew of 2 to 5 people per shift. The position requires the ability to meet scheduling requirements and reliably work 20–40 hours per week. Physical duties include continuous standing and walking, and bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds for tasks such as stocking, refilling ice, and removing trash. Participation in Tropical Smoothie Café training programs is required.

Communicate concise information about Tropical Smoothie Café products to guests.
Maintain product and guest service standards.

Prepare orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Work effectively with crew members and managers.
Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation practices.
Lead a crew of 2 to 5 people per shift.
Communicate effectively with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
Participate in Tropical Smoothie Café training programs.
