About The Position
The Café Shift Lead serves as a brand ambassador for Tropical Smoothie Café and assists in developing crew members who provide guests with unparalleled hospitality while reflecting the brand’s culture and values. The role supports guest service, product standards, teamwork, timely and accurate order preparation, and café cleanliness and sanitation. Shift Leads may lead a crew of 2 to 5 people per shift and communicate with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager. The position requires meeting schedule requirements and being a reliable performer. The stated work week is 20–40 hours. Physical duties include continuous standing and walking, as well as bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds. Employees participate in Tropical Smoothie Café training programs.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality guest service experience.
- Communicate concise information about Tropical Smoothie Café products to guests.
- Maintain product and guest service standards.
- Promote teamwork and assist in developing team members.
- Prepare orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Work effectively with crew members and managers.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation practices.
- Lead a crew of 2 to 5 people per shift.
- Communicate effectively with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager.
- Participate in Tropical Smoothie Café training programs.
