About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is seeking a Shift Leader to collaborate with the General Manager and help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. Shift Leaders take charge of the team’s morale and tone, provide feedback and coaching to team members, and open and close the store with little to no supervision. They help ensure the quality of food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. The role offers opportunities for career growth; many General Managers began as Shift Leaders or Team Members.

Stores close at 2 p.m., and the position does not require work past 3 p.m. Schedules may include varied days and early starts, as early as 3 a.m. depending on the restaurant, and weekends. The position is at the Einstein Bros. Bagels location at 9218 Potranco Rd Ste 103, San Antonio, Texas 78251.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to work varied hours and days as business dictates, including early hours and weekends.
• Must pass a background check as applicable under local, state, and federal law.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a ServSafe Certification before completing leadership training.
• A current, valid state-issued driver’s license is preferred and required at specific locations; must meet driving qualifications required by Company policy where applicable.
