About The Position

Luna Grill is hiring Shift Leaders for its new Tempe location. The Shift Leader leads from the floor, sets the tone for each shift, supports the team, and helps deliver exceptional guest experiences while keeping restaurant operations running smoothly. The role includes serving guests, overseeing front-of-house operations, supporting kitchen service flow and food quality, and ensuring a clean, welcoming environment. Shift Leaders also coach team members, handle guest concerns, assist with inventory counts and shift recaps, and maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and labor policies.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of restaurant supervisory or leadership experience in a high-volume or fast-casual environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leadership style and ability to lead by example.
• Ability to multitask, organize, and coach under pressure.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example while serving guests and supporting the team.
• Act as the person in charge of daily operations, guest satisfaction, and team deployment.
• Oversee front-of-house operations and maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment.
• Provide hospitality, promptly resolve guest issues, and create a positive guest experience.
• Coach and motivate team members in real time to uphold company standards.
• Support inventory counts, shift recaps, and basic administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain service flow and food quality.
• Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and labor policies.
