About The Position
At Spinato's, a Host(ess), also called a Guest Service Representative (GSR), welcomes guests, directs traffic, and helps provide the “Spinato's Experience” in a team environment. GSRs are responsible for creating a great first impression. As a seater, the GSR works at the lobby podium and escorts dine-in guests to their tables. When there is a wait, the GSR coordinates the waiting list, quotes accurate wait times, and entertains guests who choose to wait. GSRs may also provide dining-room support, including bussing and setting tables, getting refills, running food, assisting ESPs, working as a To-Go Expo, and working as a Bar Back. Training for some or all of these roles depends on location and skill set, and the position can provide a path toward promotion to ESP. The company can work around school schedules and other obligations. The work environment is casual.
Requirements
- A current food handler's card or certificate is required.
- Must provide proof of employment eligibility.
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Great communication skills and a winning attitude are required.

- Prior experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and direct traffic, helping create a great first impression.
