About The Position

Bobby V’s Restaurant & Sports Bar is seeking a motivated Hostess to support its upscale restaurant and bar, which offers dining and entertainment in a comfortable environment. The Hostess helps provide guests with a memorable dining experience by greeting customers, answering the phone, taking and preparing takeout orders, and seating customers promptly. The role also involves answering customer questions, maintaining health and safety standards, and completing other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

• Positive attitude.
• Show up to work consistently and on time.
• Availability on weekends, holidays, and sporting events is required.
• Ability to move quickly throughout the restaurant.
• Ability to lift and carry 15+ lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the building.
• Answer the phone and take to-go orders.
• Seat customers in a timely manner.
• Bag and sell takeout orders in a timely manner.
• Know the restaurant’s policies, hours of operation, and other information needed to answer customer questions.
• Maintain health and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Complete relevant tasks the Manager deems necessary for the success of the business.
