About The Position

Azzip Pizza Shift Leaders are hands-on leaders who motivate and influence the team and help everyone contribute to store success. When the General Manager or Assistant General Manager is not present, the Shift Leader helps ensure employees and customers have positive experiences, leads Azzip’s culture, and maintains the company’s standards for pizza, customer service, and restaurant cleanliness. Starting pay is $17.65+ per hour, including $14.65 per hour base pay and a $3 per hour tip guarantee. Shift Leaders earn Paid Time Off and receive a free pizza every shift. Health care benefits are available if full-time. The work takes place in a fast-paced, energetic kitchen focused on teamwork and customer experience. The kitchen can become hot due to ovens and other equipment; air conditioning and ventilation are in place. The role may involve exposure to flour dust and other airborne particulates, allergens, and moderate noise. The job requires standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds. Responsibilities

Lead by example through hands-on pizza making, customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant.
Open the store by creating, prioritizing, and delegating a morning preparation list.
Close the store by completing nightly reports, ensuring cleaning tasks are completed, and handling bank deposits.
Teach and coach employees to follow standards for ingredient preparation, pizza making, and customer service.
Communicate and resolve customer and employee concerns, escalating issues when appropriate.
Place nightly vendor orders as needed.
Foster a fun work environment by maintaining a positive attitude.
