About The Position

Securitas is hiring two full-time Shift Lead Security Officers to help maintain a safe and secure client site in Nashua, New Hampshire. The Shift Lead supervises and motivates team members, leads by example, and supports client safety through integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness. The role includes actively monitoring and patrolling the premises, preserving order, enforcing site regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to client employees and customers. The position pays $20.00 per hour and requires weekend availability. The schedule is Saturday 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., Sunday 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., for 40 hours per week. Security experience is required; Securitas will assist the selected candidate with applying for a New Hampshire Guard Card after an offer is accepted.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in a security role.
Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
Quick judgment and the ability to de-escalate situations safely and swiftly.
Ability to obtain a New Hampshire Guard Card; the application fee is $40, and the employer will assist with the application after an offer is accepted.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather for patrols.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Comfort operating a company vehicle during mobile patrols.
Ability to ride a bicycle.
At least 18 years old.
Must be able to work weekends.
