About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves regular interactions with client employees and guests, customer service, property tours, and use of technology devices during the shift. Officers also perform other similar tasks as required for their assigned site.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.

Nice To Haves

Security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises and control access.

Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Respond to emergencies with effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
Carry out other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
