About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling locations. The officer preserves order by enforcing regulations and directives for client sites involving personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves conflict resolution and de-escalation, customer service, property tours, use of technology devices, and completing assigned rounds and site duties.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including a drug screen and background investigation.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Monitor premises, including access control and patrols.

Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow all post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out other tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
