About The Position

Securitas is hiring two full-time Shift Lead Security Officers for a client site in Nashua, New Hampshire. The Shift Lead supervises and motivates team members, leads by example, and supports client safety. The work includes maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring and patrolling the premises, preserving order, enforcing site regulations and directives, and providing customer service and information to employees and customers. The role may involve mobile patrols in a company vehicle and outdoor patrols in all types of weather. The schedule is Saturday 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., Sunday 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m., and Monday through Wednesday 1:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week. Pay is $20.00 per hour. Securitas provides training and assistance with applying for a New Hampshire Guard Card after an employment offer.

Requirements

At least one year of prior experience in a security role.
Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
Quick judgment and the ability to safely and swiftly de-escalate situations.
Ability to obtain a New Hampshire Guard Card; the application fee is $40, and Securitas will assist with the application after an employment offer.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Comfort operating a company vehicle during mobile patrols.
Ability to ride a bicycle.
At least 18 years old.
Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
Willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather for patrols.
Must be able to work weekends.
