About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises, controlling access, and patrolling assigned locations. The officer preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. The role involves regular interaction with client employees and guests, use of technology devices throughout the shift, and responding appropriately to safety concerns and emergencies. The position is full-time and based in Fargo, North Dakota, with a wage of $25.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Above-average computer and technology skills.
Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
Professional demeanor.
Willingness to participate in the company's pre-employment screening process, including a drug screen and background investigation.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations.
Interact frequently with client employees and guests.
Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
Provide customer service and information to client employees and guests.
Use technology devices throughout the shift.
Conduct tours of the property.
Carry out other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.
Respond to emergencies using effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
