About The Position

Figure is an AI robotics company developing autonomous, general-purpose humanoid robots for home and commercial markets. Headquartered in San Jose, California, the company aims to ship humanoid robots with human-level intelligence. The Shift Coordinator leads the Humanoid Robot Operator team and owns shift results. The role sets priorities, keeps robots operating for commercial use cases, resolves operational problems, and provides the day team with a clear and accurate shift report. The coordinator makes independent decisions when engineering support is limited, investigates missed targets, and seeks improvements when targets are met. The role also includes hands-on robot operation as needed. The regular swing shift is 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, on a five-day workweek that includes a weekend shift and two days off. Initial training is described as a one-week process at company headquarters, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The posting also mentions training Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The US base pay rate is $35.00 per hour. The position is contract-to-hire, with the goal of transitioning to full-time employment.
