About The Position

Chrysalis seeks a caring individual or couple to provide a home for a person with intellectual disabilities. Chrysalis matches the professional parent with a child, teen, or adult based on the applicant’s preferences and the individual’s needs. The role offers monthly compensation for providing services, rent, and food. Chrysalis also provides training, regular time off, and extended time off for vacations. Applicants must be at least 21 years old; singles and couples may apply online.

Requirements

• All adults in the home must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience providing support to individual(s) with disabilities.
• Must meet home or apartment safety and health requirements.
• Must complete pre-service training requirements.
• Must be capable of communicating well verbally and in writing.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must have good judgment.
• Must have a positive attitude.

• Provide a home and support for a person with intellectual disabilities.
• Meet the individual’s needs in a way that supports stability, belonging, and positive experiences.
