About The Position
The Indoor Golf Shop is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Sewing Machine Operator to join our Production team in Celina, TX. If you have experience working with industrial sewing machines, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in producing high-quality products, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing company. At The Indoor Golf Shop, we create and deliver premium golf simulator products used by golfers, businesses, and golf facilities across the country. Your work will directly contribute to products that help customers create incredible golf experiences at home and beyond.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial sewing experience.
- Experience operating industrial sewing machines.
- Ability to accurately work with fractional measurements and perform basic addition, subtraction, and division.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout a 10-hour shift.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with industrial sewing machine maintenance.
- Experience configuring or adjusting industrial sewing machines.
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and finish materials of various sizes and types.
- Seam materials together, hem edges, and attach binding.
- Sew Velcro and other components or accessories onto finished products.
- Install grommets using a power grommet press.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Measure materials accurately and work with fractional measurements.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and adjustments to sewing equipment.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
- Work independently while also collaborating with the Production team.
- Support process improvements and help identify ways to improve quality and efficiency.
