About The Position

The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy invites applications for Sessional Lecturers to teach the following courses during the 2026-27 Regular Session, Fall Term: JSGS 801.3 Governance and Administration and JSGS 891.3 Public Policy Professionalism. These courses will be delivered in person in Saskatoon, with a schedule of Wednesdays from 5-8 PM for JSGS 801.3 and Tuesdays from 5-8 PM for JSGS 891.3. The appointment period includes additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in public administration, public policy, or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with the MPA competencies
  • Experience working in the public sector

Nice To Haves

  • PhD degree
  • Previous teaching experience, particularly at the graduate level
