This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach GLA2064HS Researching Terrorism. The course focuses on key opportunities and challenges in researching terrorism and terrorism financing. Students will learn how to access information about terrorism, approach the issue of terrorism financing, build and use databases of terrorist attacks, evaluate counterterrorism policies, and write about terrorism and counterterrorism. These skills are essential for careers in think tanks, academia, government, the media, NGOs, IGOs, and the private sector. The estimated course enrollment is 25 students. The class schedule is Wednesday from 10 am to Noon. The delivery method is currently in-person but may change. The sessional dates of appointment are January 1, 2027, to April 30, 2027.
