About The Position

The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach NUTR 442 (Clinical Nutrition II) during the 2027 Winter Term. This course covers the principles of medical nutrition therapy and the etiology, pathophysiology, and nutrition-related interventions for various diseases and conditions. The position involves teaching the lecture component and participating in/facilitating some labs, working closely with a lab coordinator. The course is scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM, with labs on Mondays from 1:30 PM to 4:20 PM. The expected enrollment limit is 28 students.

Requirements

  • Registered dietitian with expertise in clinical nutrition.
  • Experience with the delivery of nutrition support (enteral and parenteral nutrition).
  • Teaching experience is preferred.
  • Completion of the CUPE 3287 Employment Application Form.

Nice To Haves

  • A graduate degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in nutrition.
