About The Position
The Department of Sociology invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following course during the 2026-27 Regular session: Course Number, Section, and Name: SOC 311.3 (02) Youth Crime, Justice, and Social Control. Term and Course Dates: Winter Session (January to April, 2027). CRN: 33218. Delivery Mode: This course will be offered as a lecture. Course Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday 8:30 to 9:50am. Expected Enrollment Limit: 60. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.
Requirements
- A minimum of an M.A. degree in Sociology is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required for off-campus courses.
Nice To Haves
- A Ph.D. in Sociology or a related discipline.
- Relevant teaching experience.
Responsibilities
