About The Position

The Department of Economics, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach various economics courses during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. The courses include Introductory Microeconomics, Money Banking and Capital Markets, Introductory Macroeconomics, Intermediate Microeconomics, and International Monetary Economics. These courses will be offered on-campus as face-to-face lectures in Saskatoon. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in economics.
  • Teaching experience in economics.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach ECON 111.3 (09) Introductory Microeconomics during Term One (September 2, 2026 – December 7, 2026).
  • Teach ECON 311.3 (01) Money Banking and Capital Markets during Term One (September 2, 2026 – December 7, 2026).
  • Teach ECON 114.3 (04) Introductory Macroeconomics during Term Two (January 6, 2027 – April 8, 2027).
  • Teach ECON 211.3 (06) Intermediate Microeconomics during Term Two (January 6, 2027 – April 8, 2027).
  • Teach ECON 356.3 (02) International Monetary Economics during Term Two (January 6, 2027 – April 8, 2027).
