WOOD 330, Industrial Engineering, is a 3 credit course offered within the Faculty of Forestry & Environmental Stewardship by the Department of Wood Science for 3rd year students in the Wood Products Processing program. This course has two lectures and one lab per week, all delivered in person. It covers the use of industrial engineering concepts and methods to analyze and improve organizations’ competitiveness. The course content includes operations strategy and competitiveness, supply chain management, time study, inventory management, Monte Carlo simulation, linear programming, and sensitivity analysis.
