About The Position

This position is for a Sessional Lecturer for the course INF1341H - Systems Analysis and Process Innovation at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information for the Fall Term 2026 (September – December). The course focuses on multiple methods for modelling and analyzing information systems, including systematic techniques for representing and analyzing process and data, use cases and scenarios, stakeholder goals and relationships, requirements exploration and definition, and operational and strategic perspectives. This course can be used to fulfill the “Technical” Professional Requirement. The estimated course enrolment is 140, with an estimated 75 hours of TA support if enrollment is 36 or greater. The class schedule is to be determined, and the lecturer is required to be located in geographical proximity to the applicable University premises to perform duties on University premises as of the Starting Date. The sessional dates of appointment are September 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026.

Requirements

  • Completed, or nearly completed, PhD degree in an area related to the course or a Master’s degree plus extensive professional experience in an area related to the course.
  • Teaching experience is preferred.
  • Must be located in geographical proximity to the applicable University premises to attend and perform duties on University premises as of the Starting Date.
