About The Position

The Department of Indigenous Studies, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach the following courses at the Prince Albert campus during the 2026-2027 Regular Session: Course Number, Section, and Name: INDG 107.3 (C15 / W05) Introduction to Canadian Indigenous Studies Term and Course Dates: Term One (September to December) CRN: 85410 / 92643 Delivery Mode: This hybrid course will be offered as an in-person lecture in Prince Albert and is cross listed with a synchronous online class at the Saskatoon main campus Course Schedule: Monday 9:30am to 12:20pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 70 (50 in-person, 20 online) Location: Prince Albert Qualifications: A graduate degree in Indigenous Studies or a related field with demonstrated expertise in Indigenous research. Previous experience teaching Indigenous Studies preferred. Course Number, Section, and Name: INDG 107.3 (C16 / W04) Introduction to Canadian Indigenous Studies Term and Course Dates: Term Two (January to April) CRN: 25847 / 30788 Delivery Mode: This hybrid course will be offered as an in-person lecture in Prince Albert and is cross listed with a synchronous online class at the Saskatoon main campus Course Schedule: Monday 9:30am to 12:20pm Expected Enrollment Limit: 70 (50 in-person, 20 online) Location: Prince Albert Qualifications: A graduate degree in Indigenous Studies or a related field with demonstrated expertise in Indigenous research. Previous experience teaching Indigenous Studies preferred. A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days in recognition of preparation and marking time required. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrolment.

Responsibilities

  • Teach INDG 107.3 (C15 / W05) Introduction to Canadian Indigenous Studies during Term One (September to December).
  • Teach INDG 107.3 (C16 / W04) Introduction to Canadian Indigenous Studies during Term Two (January to April).
  • Deliver hybrid course as an in-person lecture in Prince Albert.
  • Prepare and mark course materials.
