About The Position

The Department of Economics, College of Arts and Science invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach Introductory Microeconomics (ECON 111.3) during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. Two positions are available, one for Term One (September 2, 2026 – December 7, 2026) and one for Term Two (January 6, 2027 – April 8, 2027). Both courses will be delivered on-campus as face-to-face lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 11:20 AM, with an expected enrollment limit of 330 students. A valid driver's license is required for any off-campus courses. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • A graduate degree in economics.
  • Teaching experience in economics.
  • A valid driver's license is required for any off-campus courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Introductory Microeconomics (ECON 111.3) during the 2026-2027 Regular Session.
  • Prepare and mark course materials.
  • Deliver face-to-face lectures on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 AM – 11:20 AM.
