This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach ECO358H1S Financial Economics I (Section LEC5101). The course provides an introduction to the economics of financial assets and financial markets, covering topics such as inter-temporal choice, expected utility theory, security valuation, asset pricing models, market efficiency, and the term structure of interest rates. The estimated course enrollment is 150 students, with an estimated TA support of 210 (contingent upon enrollment and funding). The class schedule is Wednesday from 17:00 to 20:00. The delivery method is currently in-person but may change. The sessional dates of appointment are January 1 - April 30, 2027.
