This position is for a Sessional Lecturer to teach ECO359H1S Financial Economics II: Corporate Finance (Section LEC0101) at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Arts & Science, Department of Economics, St. George campus. The course focuses on agency and incomplete information problems in financial transactions, the role of contractual arrangements, financial constraints on investment, the financial system's role in economic growth, and the legal system's impact on financial markets, drawing from theoretical and empirical literature. The estimated course enrollment is 125 students, with an estimated 180 hours of TA support contingent upon enrollment and funding. The class schedule is Monday from 15:00 to 17:00 and Wednesday from 12:00 to 13:00. The delivery method is currently in-person but may change. The sessional dates of appointment are January 1 - April 30, 2027.
