About The Position

The College of Pharmacy and Nutrition: Nutrition invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer to teach Basic Nutrition (NUTR 120.3) during the 2026-2027 Regular Session. This position involves delivering lectures for two sections of the course, each with an expected enrollment limit of 60 students. The courses are scheduled for Term Two (January to April) and will be held at the Prince Albert Campus. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking. Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Nutrition preferred.
  • Teaching experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for any off-campus courses.

Responsibilities

  • Teach NUTR 120.3 (C16) Basic Nutrition during Term Two (January to April) on Mondays, 2:00 pm to 4:50 pm.
  • Teach NUTR 120.3 (C18) Basic Nutrition during Term Two (January to April) on Wednesdays, 10:00 am to 12:50 pm.
  • Prepare and mark course materials.
  • Potentially teach off-campus courses requiring a valid driver's license.
