About The Position
The Department of Community Health and Epidemiology, College of Medicine is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach CHEP 800.3 (Introduction to Epidemiology and Biostatistics) during the 2026 Fall Term. This course will be delivered as a lecture on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with an expected enrollment limit of 20 students. Appointment periods include additional days for preparation and marking.
Requirements
- Minimum of a PhD degree in Epidemiology or Community and Population Health Sciences.
- Teaching or teaching assistant experience.
- Knowledge of and experience with quantitative data analysis (e.g. modeling).
- Ability to communicate epidemiologic concepts and principles.
Responsibilities
- Teach the course CHEP 800.3 (Introduction to Epidemiology and Biostatistics) during the 2026 Fall Term.
- Prepare and mark course materials.
