This course focuses on how we can analyze numerical and categorical data to gain reliable insights into people and social processes. Topics include data tables, graphs, descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, and inference to a population. The estimated course enrollment is 100 students, with an estimated 300 hours of TA support. The class schedule is Mondays from 9-11 am. The sessional dates of appointment are from September 1 to December 31, 2026. The salary is a minimum stipend of $9,997.48 for a Half course, inclusive of vacation pay. This position is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
