This position involves teaching SOC369H5S: Digital Culture and Society, a university credit course exploring the intersections of human culture and digital technology. The course examines how digital technologies, including the internet and social media, shape identity, groups, and institutions, as well as interactions, experiences, and practices. It also investigates the historical shifts in the relationship between digital culture and society. The estimated course enrollment is 150 students, with an estimated 180 hours of TA support. Lectures are scheduled for Tuesdays from 6-8 pm online. The appointment dates are from January 1 to April 30, 2027.
