About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design and develop across its ServiceNow platform. The role focuses on maintaining a stable ServiceNow environment and delivering ITSM capabilities, including Now Assist. The developer will collaborate with developers, product owners, process owners, and platform engineers to define requirements; contribute to Agile software development and ceremonies; uphold quality assurance; follow and enforce ServiceNow and OneGDIT best practices; and support platform upgrades, patching, and deployments. The position is hybrid and requires working in a GDIT office at least three days per week. The primary listed location is Falls Church, Virginia, with additional locations in Sierra Vista, Arizona; Tampa, Florida; Bossier City, Louisiana; Bethesda, Maryland; Durham, North Carolina; San Antonio, Texas; and Herndon, Virginia. The schedule is 40 hours per week, with no travel required. The likely salary range is $107,744–$143,750; actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and contractual requirements. Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in prompt engineering, Now Assist, and agentic AI.
At least 7 years of ServiceNow development experience in an ITSM environment.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, modules, and platform capabilities.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification, or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
Extensive experience designing forms, UI policies, client scripts, workflows, business rules, integrations, and custom applications.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Must be a U.S. person.
High school diploma required.
Willingness to work in a GDIT office at least three days per week.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow forms, flows, catalog items, integrations, and related platform components.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, process owners, and platform engineers to define requirements.
Support Agile ceremonies and maintain quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
