About The Position

Seamless Migration is seeking a career- and customer-oriented ServiceNow ITAM Developer to join its team. Seamless Migration is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business founded in 2021 to enable organizations through automation, using agile methodologies to deliver solutions that evolve with clients’ needs. This position is 100% remote. The developer configures and customizes ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro), supports CMDB data quality, integrates ServiceNow with procurement, finance, mobile device management, and endpoint systems, and develops workflows, scripts, reports, and dashboards. The role works with asset managers, procurement, and IT operations to gather requirements and translate them into user stories.

Requirements

3–5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, including at least 2 years focused on ITAM.
Working knowledge of HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and the CMDB data model.
Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide APIs, and REST/SOAP integrations.
Understanding of software licensing models, including per-device, per-user, subscription, and core-based models.
Experience with Agile delivery and update set/source control practices.

Nice To Haves

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
CIS-Hardware Asset Management and/or CIS-Software Asset Management certification.
Experience with SaaS License Management and cloud cost management.
Familiarity with ITIL 4 and IAITAM practices.

Responsibilities

Configure and customize HAM Pro and SAM Pro, including asset lifecycle stages, stockrooms, and model and publisher normalization.
Build and maintain software entitlements, license reconciliation, and publisher pack configurations, including Microsoft, Adobe, and Oracle.
Maintain CMDB data quality using Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, IRE rules, and CMDB Health dashboards.
Integrate ServiceNow with procurement, finance, MDM, and endpoint tools such as Intune, SCCM, and Jamf through IntegrationHub and REST APIs.
Develop workflows for asset requests, refresh, retirement, and disposal using Flow Designer.
Write server-side and client-side scripts, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
Build reports and dashboards on asset utilization, compliance position, and cost savings.
Work with asset managers, procurement, and IT operations to gather requirements and translate them into user stories.
