About The Position

BAE Systems is seeking ServiceNow Developers at all levels, from junior to senior, to support a classified customer in the Intelligence Community. The role designs and develops application software and systems on the ServiceNow Platform as part of a team modernizing legacy infrastructure and applications for a national security mission. The developer collaborates with teammates on planning, design, development, and use of data processing systems. The work includes determining user needs; analyzing system capabilities and resolving problems involving program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls; and designing and developing compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. The position also supports new implementations, enhanced functionality, and ongoing system support while preserving system integrity and meeting schedules.

Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree.
Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Development Platform, including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR Module, Customer Service Management (CSM), Asset Management, Change Management, Customer Development, CMDB, and the Service Status Portal.
Proven success developing ServiceNow products using JavaScript and other coding applications.
Experience with database administration using Oracle or MySQL.
Ability to estimate work effort efficiently and appropriately as part of an Agile Scrum.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, both as a team member and individual contributor.
Ability and willingness to work with new and emerging technologies and tools as opportunities demand.
High degree of initiative, creativity, and technical ability.

Nice To Haves

Information Technology or Engineering bachelor's or master's degree.
ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator (CSA) certification.
Experience working in a team that uses Agile, Scrum, and DevSecOps.
Familiarity with how ServiceNow can support ZTA efforts.

Responsibilities
