About The Position

Seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Developer to join a growing ServiceNow practice. The role focuses on building and maintaining a robust Configuration Management Database (CMDB), enabling IT Operations Management (ITOM), and improving enterprise-wide service visibility. The developer will design, implement, and support CMDB solutions, ServiceNow Client, Service Mapping, and ITOM capabilities. They will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, and service management teams to ensure high-quality configuration data, compliance with CSDM standards, and seamless integration across the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of ServiceNow Development experience.
• Strong expertise in CMDB, Client, and Service Mapping.
• Hands-on experience with ITOM and ITSM modules.
• Knowledge of CSDM, IRE, and CMDB Governance.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with MID Server configuration and cloud integrations (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

Nice To Haves

• AIOps/Event Management experience.
• Exposure to HAM, SAM, SecOps, or GRC.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA/CAD/CIS-ITOM).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CMDB solutions within ServiceNow.
• Configure and support Client, Service Mapping, and MID Servers.
• Implement the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) and CMDB governance processes.
• Integrate CMDB with ITSM, ITOM, Asset Management, and cloud platforms.
• Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer solutions.
• Build REST/SOAP integrations with enterprise applications.
• Improve data quality, service visibility, and CMDB health across the organization.
• Support platform upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align CMDB architecture with CSDM and ITIL best practices.
