ServiceNow Developer - Gold River, California
About The Position
Gainwell is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, implement, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The role works with stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient applications through scripting, workflow development, and integrations, while ensuring security and compliance. The developer will support and enhance ServiceNow applications and workflows, integrate the platform with other systems, automate tasks and processes, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure platform stability and reliability. The role also involves providing technical support and collaborating with business stakeholders, developers, and IT professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including expertise across modules such as ITSM, CSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, GRC, and SecOps.
- Strong ServiceNow configuration and development experience using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, Script Includes, and UI Scripts.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to gather and translate business requirements.
- Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture and functionality.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow modules and applications such as ITSM, CSM, and ITOM.
- Deep understanding of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Configuration Items (CI).
- Experience with software development methodologies and tools.
Nice To Haves
- Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.
