Service Valet / Lot Attendant - Honda Stuart
About The Position
Johnson Honda of Stuart is hiring a full-time Concierge / Valet / Lot Attendant to support its Service Department. The role is suited to a friendly, confident, customer-service-oriented person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The employee will welcome service guests, help manage vehicle and guest traffic, assist with parking, explain dealership amenities, direct guests to service personnel, and transport guests in a shuttle vehicle when requested. Other Service Department duties may be assigned by management. Applicants must be able to drive a manual-transmission vehicle or learn to do so, and must be available to work evenings and weekends. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory completion of a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle report.
Requirements
- Ability to drive a manual-transmission vehicle or learn to do so.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, outgoing personality, and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests entering the Service Department.
- Promote smooth, efficient traffic flow in the Service Breezeway and on the dealership lot.
- Assist with parking and organizing guest and dealership vehicles.
- Ensure guests are familiar with dealership amenities.
- Direct guests to appropriate service personnel as needed.
- Use a shuttle vehicle to transport guests to various locations as requested.
- Keep abreast of dealership information to answer guest questions.
- Assist the Service Department with other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
