About The Position
General Parts Group is hiring experienced commercial kitchen equipment technicians in the Fargo, North Dakota area. Technicians service and repair restaurant equipment at customer locations, including restaurants, hospitals, schools, and other commercial kitchens. The role may focus on commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or both. Hourly rates start at $25.00 and may reach $40.00 based on experience. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000. Technicians receive a company vehicle and steady commercial service work. General Parts supports technician training and career growth, including opportunities to pursue CFESA training certifications.
Requirements
- Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Valid driver’s license.
- EPA certification for refrigeration technicians.
- Ability to work independently in the field.
Nice To Haves
- Experience servicing both commercial cooking equipment and commercial refrigeration (combo technician).
- CFESA training certifications.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial restaurant equipment at customer locations.
- Work on commercial cooking equipment such as fryers, ovens, and grills, commercial refrigeration such as walk-ins, ice machines, and reach-ins, or both.
- Independently perform field service work.
