About The Position

The Service Technician operates a company service truck and travels to various locations to service, pump, and clean portable restrooms and/or holding tanks. The role supports the core business by completing service work safely and to customer standards. The technician follows USS and DOT requirements and safety standards, services portable toilets according to the USS 8 point service standard, and communicates with customers and operations staff to support efficient routing and meet customer needs.

Requirements

• At least two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid driver license (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl during work duties.
• Ability to frequently lift or push between 50 and 150 pounds during a work shift.
• Ability to be flexible when routes need adjustment or change.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company service truck and perform basic driving functions in accordance with USS and DOT requirements.
• Perform all work safely in accordance with USS and DOT safety standards to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Service portable toilets according to the USS 8 point service standard.
• Interact with customers at work sites to ensure services are completed to their standards.
• Adapt to route adjustments or changes to meet customer needs.
• Provide routing feedback to the Operations Manager, Supervisor, or Coordinator to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Discuss customers’ portable toilet needs and plan strategically to satisfy their current and future needs.
