About The Position

Willborn is hiring Service Technicians in the Odessa, Texas area. The role performs repair and maintenance on system components at vehicle fueling facilities and documents activities and materials used for billing. Facilities may include retail sites, such as convenience stores, and private customer sites, such as trucking companies. Components may include fuel dispensers, pumps, controllers, point-of-sale systems, printers, fuel management systems, tanks and tank hardware, filters, tank level monitors, leak detection equipment, valves, piping and fluid-conveying systems, meters and registers, and other electromechanical equipment. Paid training is provided, with proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostic repair expected after the training period. The position requires travel and may involve working independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Well-rounded experience with light mechanical, electrical/electronic, and plumbing processes.
• Some aptitude with computer hardware and software.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass drug, criminal, and motor vehicle record background checks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Positive, can-do attitude and good follow-up skills.
• Hands-on mechanical, electrical, and computer-related aptitudes.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Ability to work well unsupervised and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Desire to learn, grow, and excel in a learning environment.

Responsibilities
