About The Position

Willborn is hiring a Service Technician in the Midland, Texas area. The technician performs repair and maintenance on system components at vehicle fueling facilities, which may be retail locations such as convenience stores or private customer sites such as trucking companies. Duties also include documenting activities performed and materials used for billing. Willborn provides paid training, after which the technician is expected to troubleshoot and diagnose repairs.

Requirements

Well-rounded experience with light mechanical, electrical/electronic, and plumbing processes.
Some aptitude with computer hardware and software.
Clean driving record.
Ability to pass drug, criminal, and motor vehicle record (MVR) background checks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Positive, can-do attitude and good follow-up skills.
Desire to learn, grow, and excel in a learning environment.
Hands-on mechanical, electrical, and computer-related aptitude.
Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and also work well unsupervised.
Strong, effective, and consistent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain system components at vehicle fueling facilities.
Summarize work activities and materials used for billing purposes.
Troubleshoot and diagnose repairs after the training period.
Complete work efficiently and in a timely manner.
Travel as needed.
