Cortica is seeking dedicated, compassionate Behavior Technicians to provide naturalistic, play-based ABA care to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences. The role involves delivering 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services, applying positive behavior strategies developed with a BCBA, and using evidence-based practices to support meaningful progress for children and families. Behavior Technicians document session data, collaborate with families and supervisors, and follow crisis protocols, including de-escalation and mandated reporting. The position requires regular travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation. New hires receive a two-week, in-person paid orientation with hands-on training, BCAT exam review, and coverage of exam fees; candidates must obtain the BCAT credential within 90 days of their start date. Cortica describes its approach as transdisciplinary, collaborative, strength-based, and neurodiversity-affirming. Technicians work alongside families, clinicians, and professionals across fields including speech-language therapy, music therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, pediatrics, neurology, and nursing. Career paths may include advancement to a BCBA role, the Behavior Technician Clinical Ladder, or a corporate support role.
