About The Position

As a Service Technician at Lucid, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair Lucid Motors vehicles, applying your passion for sustainable transportation and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. ASE certifications are expected within 6–8 months of hire; Lucid will reimburse the cost of successful completion.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including experience diagnosing and repairing electric or hybrid-electric vehicles.
Knowledge of high-voltage systems, low-voltage systems, and electric vehicle powertrains.
Customer-facing experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office and learn proprietary DMS software.
EPA 609 Certification.
Willingness to complete Lucid-provided CPR training after hire.
Valid driver’s license with no suspensions within the past year.
Drivers under 21 must have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years and successfully complete Lucid training upon hire.
Obtain ASE certifications within 6–8 months of hire; Lucid reimburses the cost of successful completion.

Nice To Haves

ASE certifications: A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, L3, and L4 (ADAS).
Experience in luxury automobile repair environments.

Responsibilities

Repair basic and major mechanical issues and perform basic electrical and mechanical diagnosis.
Maintain a high level of knowledge of high-voltage, low-voltage, and general electric vehicle systems.
Follow correct repair order documentation procedures, including the Three C’s.
Use the appropriate software suite to document customer vehicle interactions completely and accurately.
Communicate and collaborate with service-team members, including advisors and managers, as well as customers.
Demonstrate and teach technical skills and knowledge to others.
Pay attention to detail and contribute to positive client experiences.
Work remotely and support the mobile service team as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
