About The Position

Sears Home Services is hiring a Service Technician to repair appliances in customers’ homes. The role involves diagnosing and repairing appliances, providing a consistently delightful customer experience, and offering value-added solutions that help make homes cleaner, more comfortable, and protected. Technicians maintain and organize their company truck and help manage parts efficiently. Sears provides year-round work, flexible schedules, training, peer mentoring, career advancement and cross-training opportunities. Technicians are not on call. The role includes a company vehicle, uniforms, specialty tools, a mobile phone, and an app for technical support and paperwork.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree.
EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification.
Mechanical knowledge, including use of testing and repair tools.
Ability to follow directions and processes for quality workmanship.
Ability to use a smartphone, including for part ordering.
Successful background and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license for the state in which you work.
