About The Position

Acura of Avon, an automotive dealership located in Canton, Connecticut, is seeking a full-time Flat Rate Service Technician. The role involves diagnosing and repairing Acura and other vehicles to maintain peak performance, while providing exceptional service and supporting customer satisfaction. No dealership experience is required. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2–3 years of experience as a Service Technician.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

Technical or vocational school degree preferred.
ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections.
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on Acura vehicles.
Use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety procedures and protocols.
Communicate repair and maintenance recommendations effectively with colleagues and provide videos during multi-point inspections.
Update skills and knowledge through training and education programs provided by Acura.
